20 years of sensor manufacturing allowed us to bring our production to perfection and built up numerous in-house competencies. A state-of-the-art assembly line with a complete workflow (traceability, high-end machines for SMD assembly, fully automated test procedures, ...) is the result. Given this infrastructure and experience, there is only one logical consequence for us: to provide our manufacturing know-how to others as an EMS service partner.
Today the Global Handwashing Day aims to create awareness of washing hands properly - so important in the Corona pandemic. MICAS takes this a step further. Our broad range of electronics for touchless sensor taps are connectable to the Cloud. That allows monitoring and influencing all conceivable hygienic parameters and offers transparency of water consumption, maintenance status and other statistic data for the complete sanitary application. This is our contribution to a more hygienic world. |
"ZEIT für Unternehmer", a magazine published by the ZEIT, is looking for the actual recipes for success of medium-sized companies.
We are pleased that they have found an answer to this question in Katja Hillenbrand, chief executive of MICAS AG. The result is a great article about the MICAS AG family concept in the March issue.
The organisers have cancelled the Light + Building trade fair for March. The reason is the increased spread of the coronavirus in Europe. The fair is now planned for mid/end of September 2020. As soon as a new date is known, you can find out here.

“The manner of giving is worth more than the gift.” – Pierre Corneille
Above all, you gave us one thing last year: Trust in our work. We appreciate this very much and thank you kindly for it. For us, it is both a confirmation and an encouragement.
Nevertheless, the end of the year is not just time to look back, but rather to look forward. In order to pass on some of our optimism, we would like to make a donation to the Parents' association for children suffering from cancer in Chemnitz. Apart from this, we are supporting the riding club Lunzenau 2000 e.V., which shares our passion for equestrian sports, in building a new show jumping arena. We would be delighted if you would support this idea and these clubs instead of giving us presents.
We wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and successful year 2020.
2019 micas AG is attending again as a sponsor at the well known equestrian event in Chemnitz from 25.- 27th of October.
With ambitious jumping tournaments of international successful horsemen, exciting shows and a seperate exhibition this event offers a varied agenda not for equestrian sport fans only.

Our IoT products, especially in the field of building technology, enable a variety of applications with obvious customer benefits. By networking our products with intelligent control, the energy and water consumption of a building can be optimized and a high user comfort can be achieved. Each of our sensors provides valuable data, such as the time of usage and the frequency of use of individual devices, as well as errors or the failure of products.
Especially in the industrial and public sector, this data is used as the basis for energy and water saving models and specific services.
MICAS AG believes in the power of innovation. Our company is listed among the 150 most innovative businesses in Eastern Germany.
