Day care and after-school care

Since September 2009, Pfiffikus, our company kindergarten, has provided childcare facilities for a total of 20 children (8 in the crèche and 12 in the kindergarten) for company employees and – in the event of spare capacity – to third parties. The children are looked after by four specialist educators in small groups. It is particularly important to us to provide the children with linguistic, technical and scientific education as well as helping them to develop their musical gifts. Our in-house Pfiffikus minibus is available at all times to take the children on outings.

The company canteen, MICASA Culinaria, prepares fresh and nutritious food daily with particular regard to the needs of the children in the kindergarten and in after-school care. This is an essential part of our educational approach. When the MICAS Pfiffilino after-school facility opened in 2013, it meant we were able to offer all-day childcare places including a total of 20 places for after-school care. This means that children can be picked up from school and brought directly to Pfiffilino.
